Scot Martin

Our principal, Scot Martin has over 32 years of law enforcement experience. He most recently served the State of Nevada as a police officer for 22 years, having graduated from the Department of Public Safety, Nevada Highway Patrol Police Academy in 2000.

During his tenure with the State of Nevada, Scot served as a State Trooper and Sergeant in the Nevada Highway Patrol. Scot then served as a Sergeant in Internal Affairs until his promotion to Lieutenant and eventual promotion to Captain in the Department’s Parole and Probation Division.

Scot is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Academy, and the Nevada Certified Public Manager Program. He is also 10-year veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Military Police Corps.

Scot graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) with a Master’s in Public Administration. Scot also has a Bachelor’s in Political Science from UNLV, an Associate’s from the College of Southern Nevada in Criminal Justice, and a Certificate of Achievement form the University of Virginia.
